Oklahoma Superintendent Plans TPUSA Chapters In All State High Schools
Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters announced a partnership with Turning Point USA to establish conservative chapters in every high school statewide. Students can form local chapters with at least three participants completing a charter agreement for official school recognition. TPUSA will provide support including field representatives, teacher sponsors, activism kits with pocket Constitutions, and leadership training. Walters said the initiative fights back against "liberal propaganda" and "radical left teachers unions" while honoring Charlie Kirk's legacy of inspiring students to "love America and speak boldly." Oklahoma currently has 18 TPUSA Club America chapters in high schools.
Republican Hawks Praise Trump's Ukraine Victory Declaration
President Trump's statement that Ukraine can "win" its war against Russia drew swift praise from GOP foreign policy hawks, marking a significant shift in his position on the conflict. Senate Intelligence Chair Tom Cotton called Trump the "peace-through-strength president," while Lindsey Graham noted Russia's economic stress from sanctions. Armed Services Chair Roger Wicker welcomed Trump's assessment that Ukraine can win, contrasting it with Biden's reluctance to make such statements. The president's new stance gives momentum to stalled bipartisan sanctions legislation, including a 500% tariff on imports from countries buying Russian oil.

An investigation confirmed violations of the department's Standards of Conduct and Social Networking policies. Sheriff Charles Blackwood emphasized maintaining public trust while protecting and serving everyone with dignity and respect. Edwards disagreed with how his situation was handled but declined further comment.

Meme Stock Traders Drop Opendoor For Better Home Finance
Meme stock traders are abandoning Opendoor Technologies after hedge fund manager Eric Jackson called Better Home & Finance "the Shopify of mortgages," sending BETR stock up 47% Monday and another 33% Tuesday. Jackson previously sparked Opendoor's 1,600% rally by calling it "the next Carvana," but traders are now dumping those shares as OPEN fell 12% Monday and 8% more Tuesday. Better Home & Finance is a digital mortgage platform that generated $108 million in 2024 revenue, up 50% year-over-year. However, the company still posted a $206 million net loss despite improvements.
YouTube To Reinstate Conservative Creators Banned Over COVID Misinformation
YouTube will reinstate creators previously banned for COVID-19 and election content violations, according to a letter from parent company Alphabet to House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan. The policy reversal affects figures like Dan Bongino, Sebastian Gorka, and Steve Bannon who were banned from the platform. Alphabet accused the Biden administration of pressuring the company to impose bans on content that didn't violate policies. Jordan celebrated the move as a "victory against censorship" and "massive win" for Americans. YouTube now adopts a community-driven approach to misinformation similar to Elon Musk's X platform.

Adult Autism Often Goes Undiagnosed Due To Overlooked Symptoms
Many American adults live with undiagnosed autism spectrum disorder, with one in 45 adults affected according to Autism Speaks. Common overlooked symptoms include difficulty with social situations, trouble understanding others' feelings, preferring solitude, and struggling with eye contact or social rules. Many adults "mask" their symptoms to fit in socially, particularly women who are more likely to go undiagnosed. Adults may display repetitive behaviors, intense specific interests, and strong preferences for routines. Experts recommend seeking formal evaluation from qualified professionals if symptoms align, though some insurance plans have age-related coverage restrictions for autism assessments.
Common Medications Significantly Increase Fall Risk For Seniors
Research shows that 65% to 93% of older adults who suffered fall-related injuries were taking at least one fall risk-increasing drug, with falls causing 41,000 deaths among seniors in 2023. The most dangerous medications include antidepressants like Zoloft and Prozac, blood pressure drugs that can cause sudden drops when standing, benzodiazepines like Xanax and Valium, and over-the-counter sleep aids containing Benadryl. Opioid pain medications and bladder control drugs also substantially increase fall risk. The American Geriatrics Society recommends safer alternatives like cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia and physical therapy for balance, though patients should never stop medications without consulting their physician.
